Reading is an important skill to develop. As parents and teachers, we invest a great deal of time in teaching the necessary skills for our young children to excel.
The above is true for every learner, may it be a bilingual child or a monolingual child.
I wish to share a few personal experiences with you. You can also check out my blog post on ways to support English learning at home here.

I already mentioned that I work in a multilingual school setting, where all the children speak a minimum of two languages.
As teachers, we are witnessing a trend where there are gaps in children’s learning. Some have missed a year or two in vital reading and mathematics skills.
These gaps are now manifesting themselves in different grade levels.
The Gap in reading skills concerns me greatly because reading is A foundation of life.

Parents have no choice but to do extra work at home with their children to bridge these gaps. Therefore in today’s post, I will recommend ten early readers for your child that can boost their level, get them to love reading, and feel more positive about their reading abilities.
