As a native English speaker in a French-speaking country, you can imagine how challenging it was for me even more so for my children. Though I could find “learning French with so and so” on youtube, I couldn’t find any resource that supported parents in my situation.

As such, I made many mistakes that may now have an impact on my children’s language acquisition. I now learn that many parents are in this situation and may need support to navigate through what can be daunting, to say the least.

From there, I made it my duty to learn about language acquisition. I desire to create awareness on how to support support parents in their children’s journey to becoming bilingual and to throw in soem good resources while I am at it.

This may be ones I create or ones I reccommend.

Smartbilinguals was designed for parents who simply wants to makes language acquisition easier for their children.
